Hello! I’m Rachel, the founder of Western Culture. I discovered my love for creating handcrafted leather products many years ago when I went looking to repair my much-loved handbag of my own. My partner, who is a cowboy and an ex bull rider, introduced me to a friend of his who was an amazing saddler and carver!

The Western Culture range that I produce are all handmade using tools my great grandfather once owned. My great grandfather was a cobbler and my grandma was a milliner so in turn you can tell, creativity is in my blood.

The pieces that I make incorporate generations of skills and the art of handmade leather goods and fresh designs that make a statement.

We produce strong and durable hand-crafted leather goods and accessories at our studio in the Mudgee Region. We source our leather from all around the world. Only the most ethically sourced leather on the market is used.

Native American designs and the bohemian look and feel are our inspiration behind the Western Culture products that we create. Our eye-catching designs range from belts, bags, totes, handbags, wallets, earrings dog collars, dog leads to equine tack and our newest addition, our branded appareal.
